Friendly receptionists at the front desks (morning and after shifts). A special mention of a Drukpa team member; she was all smiles, full of greetings, happy to call for a taxi and engaging with her hotel guest. A good basic functioning kitchen. Walking distance to Westfields shopping center, restaurants, Coles, Woolworth supermarkets and pharmacists.

Loved my stay! My apartment was perfect! I had a little kitchenette, my bathroom had all the things I needed. I loved that I had access to a washing machine and dryer. I didn’t use them at all but knowing that I had access to them was just brilliant!

I knew about the Abode Woden but not Abode Phillip. They are near each other. I love the comfort of the room (Deluxe King). The bed is so comfortable. The room has a small table and chairs set, a comfy arm chair, big tv. The kitchenette has a stove top, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. It's amazing how much is packed it, yet the room is uncluttered. There is some parking in the basement. You have to book a spot, otherwise if it is full you park at a neighbouring building and walk back to the hotel. For more people it would be a minor inconvenience. Also I asked for parking in my booking the hotel carpark was full when I arrived. I have issues with mobility, so it would have been a difficult, painful walk, carting my stuff with me from the other parking area. I mentioned this to the reception staff and a solution was quickly found. found There in no restaurant on the premises, but Abode Woden, 2 blocks away, is where you have breakfast, if you pay for that option. There is a pantry with snacks and frozen meals, available at reception up to 8.00pm.

Great value. The room was spacious, fittings new, and clean. Comfy bed. Quiet overnight. If you had to stay for a few days there was a sufficient kitchen and laundry facilities.

The location was central to cafe, restaurant ,sightseeing, city almost everything. We loved the room,very spacious, clean and it had almost everything we needed. It was sad that we stayed there just for one night. Parking area was good and the premises was secured.Definitely coming back for another holiday .I was checking late but the staff communicated very nicely , overall the experience was good.

I arrived on the first day that the hotel was open so everything was new and fresh. There were still some finishing touches being applied but these were a minor in convenience. The room was spacious, quiet and had a pleasant outlook. It was great to be able to buy a meal from the pantry then heat and serve it in my room. Parking was easy to access and the location was only 5 minutes from the Canberra hospital. Pillows were much more comfortable than the huge ones at other Abode hotels where I have stayed. The somewhat high parking fee of $25 was compensated for by the very reasonable room rate.

Room was wonderful. Wasn’t noisy, even with us having a street from room. Cooking facilities would have been good had we the need for them.

There is an extra charge of $50 upon check-in for your dog if travelling with pets. It is not noted anywhere when booking and seems excessive. Lack of free to air TV seems ridiculous - you need chrome cast to watch anything. Parking outside reception is chaos and is poor for accessibility. We parked a block away as $25 pn is expensive for Woden. On the plus side, beds are comfy, rooms are spacious and clean. Amenities are basic. No shower cap or body lotion.
